Product Uses
BioCorneum®+ helps prevent abnormal scarring after surgery (cosmetic or medical); and also works for scarring from all types of burns. It softens and flattens raised scars, and prevents discoloration caused by sun-exposure by incorporating sunscreen ingredients providing an SPF of 30. BioCorneum®+ reduces redness and discoloration while relieving itching and discomfort associated with scar healing. It is water-resistant and may be used on irregular surfaces as well as along large area scars.

How does BioCorneum work?
BioCorneum hydrates the scarred area and creates an environment which allows the scar to mature through normal collagen synthesis cycles and improves the physiological and cosmetic appearance of the scar.
How do I apply BioCorneum?
Use a small pump of the product and spread it thinly over the top layer of your skin, similar to lotion. Each pump should cover at least 1 square inch of skin area.
For Which types of scars is BioCorneum suitable?
BioCorneum is intended for the management of old and new hypertrophic and keloid scars resulting from general surgical procedures, trauma, wounds, and burns. It is also ideal for scar areas exposed to the sun.
Can I wear makeup over BioCorneum?
Yes! You may wear make up over BioCorneum.
Can BioCorneum completely remove a scar?
It is not possible to make a scar "invisible". BioCorneum will, however, markedly improve the apperance of scars old and new.
How long should I use BioCorneum?
It is recommended that you apply BioCorneum twice a day for 12 weeks. You may continue to use BioCorneum beyond 12 weeks until you stop seeing results.
