Microdermabrasion

About

Microdermabrasion was specifically developed to improve acne scars and pitted or pox marked the skin. Your skin is brushed with tiny crystals to gently remove the outer layer of your skin for the ultimate exfoliation and skin rejuvenation procedure to leave skin looking softer, more even and brighter.

Procedure

This process includes steam to open the pores. A deep cleanse along with exfoliation to remove the dead skin cells. Then the Microdermabrasion tool will be used to deeply exfoliate your skin. Last, a stem cell serum and moisturizer will be massaged into your skin for maximum hydration.

Length

Each session lasts approximately 60 minutes.

Place of Treatment

You will be treated in our medical spa room in Our Surgical Team's state of the art medical office and surgery center.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

After your treatment be sure to drink lots of water to keep hydrated and to help flush toxins out of your body. Do not use any harsh chemical products or cleansers on your face for the remainder of the day. Always be sure to wear sun screen to protect your skin from the sun.

For best long term results we recommend a battery of 5-12 treatments every two weeks, and then a maintenance session every 3-6 months for maintenance.

Your health and well being will always be our first concern. There are no known side effects or permanent harm from Microdermabrasion treatment for individuals without health problems. After microdermabrasion your skin may look as if you have a slight sunburn.

There is no recovery time associated with the Microdermabrasion treatment. You may return to work and your daily activities immediately after the treatment. Some individuals may experience redness or skin irritation after their treatment that is generally resolved after the first night.

Most patients do not require anesthesia, but a topical anesthetic may be applied.
