Fat transfer cost is one of the most common interests for people looking for cosmetic body contouring procedures. My patients are often shocked when I tell them we provide fat transfer procedures for free! This is because the major factor in a fat transfer surgery is actually the liposuction section of the surgery.

How much is the fat transfer cost?

As a surgeon, my fees and my fat transfer cost are created solely based on the amount of work and surgery time required. The process of inserting the fat back in to create your ideal body physique is relatively quick compared to the fat removal process which may take up to several hours which can affect the fat transfer cost ultimately.

For example, for fat transfer cost in a male body contouring case that requires fat grafting to the chest will often be less expensive than a traditional HD Brazilian buttock lift surgery. This is due to the fact that the volume of fat that is required for transfer to the chest is approximately 100cc whereas it is around 1000cc for the buttocks.

Another factor in fat transfer cost is the anesthesia fees. This also goes hand in hand with the volume and time of liposuction as mentioned earlier. A facial fat transfer procedure may involve minimal liposuctioning and may be safely performed under local anesthesia to reduce the total fees.

Additionally, not all cases that require general anesthesia are priced equally. Fat transfer cost again is dependent on the time of surgery and will be priced higher for longer surgical cases.

Nevertheless, the fat transfer cost, regardless of your length of surgery and volume of fat removal, transferring the fat back into the body is a quick process that does not affect the final price. This is why I highly encourage my patients to utilize the fat I liposuction in one way or another to further enhance their body contouring results.

As a VASER liposuction expert, with regards to the quality of the procedure after determining the fat transfer cost, I am able to achieve fat viability of over 95% in my fat transfer procedures. With all that viable fat at our disposal, it is a waste to not utilize it in the same surgical session.

The most common area of fat transfer where fat transfer cost vary is obviously the buttocks (BBL), but we also specialize in fat transfer to the chest for males and females as well as to the face and neck. Fat transfer procedures may actually save you money in the long run because they avoid the need for costly implants that may need to be replaced down the line.
